This is not the first time I write about eggplants.
But, every time I sense that my stomach claims eggplants, especially around this time of year, and it almost feels like a totally new experience which I was longing for.
Actually, it was different this year.
I met a friend from Italy last month and showed her my favourite book of recipes bought at Bologna. Hearing my complain that those descriptions in Italian language is not plain, she picked some easy ones, then I was destined to cook eggplants once again.
Last year, it came out as a Chinese cuisine. Not bad.
This year, I used an oven.
When I finished cooking and tasted it, I was surprised by how that makes a difference.
Autumn leaves but my passion for eggplants shall not be ceased to fail.
